I lay here on the couch, just haveing ate way to much, with my laptop humming away quietly as I watch the Packers play Detroit. Half time starts up and the game cuts away to commercials as I see the previews for the new Simpsons. Homer cursed by a witch, snow falling off of a tree branch on him turning him into a snowman. Back to the half time show, singers that I've never heard of, odd dancing, and computer generated images on the football field. "Aint no moutain high enough" and "Dancing in the street," Forever the Sickest Kids suddenly accompanied by go-go dancers wearing a single white glove, quick change the channel. Alternative music now, Shinedowns' "Sound of Madness" now plays in the background. I still feel uncomfortable from dinner, shouldn't have had that last pumpkin bar, it did me in. New song, Upspring by Muse, mom's on the other laptop now, checking her Farmtown and Farmville. Time seems like it's in fast forward, the songs pass by quicker than the cars are driving by outside my window. A truck just drove by, too fast, almost didn't stop at the stop sign. Yet another song, "Hell" by Tegan and Sara, intersting begining but other than that not my type of music. Though the lyrics are cleverly written. Mom still on Farmtown, questions me about how the points are calculated, outside the dog barks to come back inside, out of the rain. The song changes again, again, and on and on. Here comes the dog, he's cold. He begs me to cover him with his favorite blanket, the pink one with hearts all over it. No longer cold, he's my own personal heater, too hot. Fall Out Boy "Sugar We're Going Down" now, I think that I just fell asleep. New song, Sick Puppies' "you're going down" perhaps telling me that I should put the computer down and take a nap, nah.
